Offer careers advice & opportunities

We are currently looking for OEs who might be interested in getting involved by volunteering in any of the following ways:

Careers Day: Being on our list of possible speakers for the annual Careers Day in January.
Careers Talks: Giving a larger, one-off careers talk to a year group or group of boys.
Careers Mentoring: Giving career guidance for your profession to either current or recent students from King Edward's.  NB: Mentees would contact us in the first instance (not the mentor) and we would limit the number of mentees to 5 at any one time.
Work Experience: Offering one week of work experience to boys from the Fifths.  NB: This must be in the Birmingham area.
Gap year / summer internships: Offering a paid internship to boys who have just left King Edward's.
Business start up advice: Offering advice to current pupils or OEs who are thinking about setting up their own business.  NB: Those interested in advice would contact us in the first instance (not you) and we would limit the number seeking advice to 5 at any one time.
OE Business Pages: If you own or run your own business, listing it in the OE Business Pages.

If you are interested in getting involved, please fill in the form below.  Alternatively if you have any questions please contact Sue Dickens, OEA Administrator, on 0121 415 6050 or oldeds@kes.org.uk.
