About the Campaign

The AP100 Campaign - more than just a number

The ambition of the AP100 Campaign was to raise £10 million to fund 100 Assisted Places by summer 2016. We were delighted to achieve this target, and the funds from the AP100 Campaign are now transforming the lives of 100 boys in the School.

The AP100 Campaign was not just about numbers. It was about boys and their lives. It was about the School helping boys from ordinary backgrounds achieve extraordinary things, something King Edward's has done for centuries. Thanks to the support of over 1,500 donors - including former pupils and their parents - 100 boys from a wide range of backgrounds and communities in Birmingham and beyond are now receiving the education that so many Old Edwardians have enjoyed, an education that could change their lives.

We are very grateful to the 12 AP100 Ambassadors who provided their support to the Campaign. Although the AP100 Campaign target has been reached, the need for funding for Assisted Places is still high as we seek to maintain our current levels of support whilst also building an endowment fund to secure this provision in perpetuity. You can still support the Assisted Places Fund and help us ensure that King Edward's School remains accessible for generations of boys to come.
