Opening of Southall Hockey Pavilion
On Saturday, 29 August 2015 Old Edwardians were invited to attend the opening of the School's new Southall Pavilion on Eastern Road.
The School's new hockey astro pitch and pavilion has been made possible through the generosity of Stuart Southall (1976) and the Old Edwardians Association. The Pavilion will transform what the School offers its own players, as well as providing a facility for local junior schools through our extensive Outreach programme and for young players through our links with Edgbaston Hockey Club.
A programme of hockey ran during the day, including several Old Edwardian matches, prior to a drinks reception and the official opening of the Pavilion.
This event was a great opportunity to see the new building and celebrate Stuart Southall's and the OEA's generosity.
