AP100 Campaign presents: An Audience with Bill Oddie
On Tuesday, 5 May 2015, as part of the AP100 Campaign, King Edward's School hosted an evening with Old Edwardian Bill Oddie (1959).
Bill Oddie (1959) is one of the School's most famous alumni. Some may know him as a member of The Goodies in the 1970s or as a famous wildlife presenter in later decades. After leaving King Edward's School, Bill went on to read English at Pembroke College, Cambridge where he wrote scripts for BBC Television's That Was The Week That Was.
Bill is one of the ambassadors for the AP100 Campaign which aimed to raise £10m to fund 100 Assisted Places in the School by 2017. As part of the Campaign, Bill kindly agreed to come to the School and during the evening he talked about his career, recounted stories and answered questions from the audience.
