Assisted Places boys start at King Edward's

07 September 2011

Twelve boys have begun their journey at King Edward's today thanks to the generosity of Old Edwardians who collectively raised over £1 million for Assisted Places last year.  The funding has enabled the Trustees to offer these additional Assisted Places within the school and has made a material difference to the lives of the boys, who would otherwise have been unable to come to King Edward's.

Increasing the number of Assisted Places that the school can offer is vital in ensuring that any bright boy can consider coming to King Edward's, whatever the financial circumstances of their family.

Over the upcoming months, the Trust aims to build on the success of last year and raise enough funds for another twelve additional places in September 2012.
