Science-based Careers Event 2020

As part of our Old Edwardians Careers Network, we will be hosting an evening with Old Edwardians and parents, from both KES and KEHS, who studied science at school/university and then went into a variety of careers. We know from previous events that our students greatly value these opportunities.

The study of Science at King Edward's is thriving, and scientific subjects are among the most popular choices for boys at GCSE and IB. Boys at King Edward's are enthusiastic scientists and achieve outstanding results. However, apart from Medicine and Engineering, they are not always aware of the many careers which are open to them within the field. In running this event, we hope to open pupils' eyes to the exciting opportunities which a scientific education can provide. If you are working in the science sector or if you have benefited from an education in the sciences, we would love to hear from you.

Date: 24 March 2020

Time: 6.30-8.30pm

Place: Ruddock Performing Arts Centre

Science Careers Event Reunion - on Tuesday 24 March is being postponed.

Whilst we had hoped to 'keep calm and carry on', given the rapidly changing situation we feel that it would be in everyone's best interest to postpone this event. I apologise sincerely for any inconvenience caused.

We hope to find a date later this year to welcome you all back to School, and will be in touch in due course.
